THE HISTORY WRITING OF THE POEM-SYMPHONY "SKOVORODA" BY P. TYCHINA: GUEST LECTURE BY SERHII HALCHENKO

The Guest lecture was held in cooperation with the T.G. Shevchenko Institute of Literature, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Educational Hub "Lifelong Education Center", and the UNESCO Chair.
On February 11, 2023, a guest lecture was held as part of the series of educational webinars "Devirsity of Ukrainian pedagogy: present and past".

The lecturer is Serhii Galchenko, PhD in Philology, Deputy Director of the T.G. Shevchenko Institute of Literature for scientific and publishing activities, The Head of the Department of manuscript funds and textology, Honored worker of culture of Ukraine, Laureate of the State prize in the field of Education
Initiator and moderator - Nataliia Filipchuk, Doctor of Sciences in Pedagogy, Leading Researcher of the Department of Content and Technology of Pedagogical Education, Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education, National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, UNESCO Chair Member, The Head of the primary branch of the Taras Shevchenko All-Ukrainian Society "Prosvita" at van Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education.
The participants of the event (more than 50 people) are teachers and students of A.S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University, Yurii Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, as well as employees of the Volodymyr Ivasiuk Memorial Museum in Chernivtsi.
Based on archival material, the lecturer revealed unique facts about the life history of Pavlo Tychyna, his creative heritage. Serhii Galchenko edited volumes 7 and 12 (prose) and volume 12 (folklore records, letters). The researcher also continued work on the texts of the poet's works. He prepared a collection of poetic works "Solar Clarinets". Edition "Golden clamor. Selected Works" presented for the first time among the selection of P. Tychyna's selected works the early collection "Requiem Hymns".
For the first time in seventy years, the collection "For the places of sonnets and octaves" (1920) was reprinted and those works that were removed by Soviet censorship were renewed. Substantial clarifications to the texts of P. Tychyna's poetic works, verified with the original manuscripts and first publications, were made by S.A. Galchenko to other editions of the poet's works, to which he wrote articles and scientific comments.
