THE FIRST MEETING OF THE UNESCO CHAIR IN 2023

On February 23, 2023, the first meeting this year of the UNESCO Chair took place. At the meeting, the Head of the UNESCO Chair, Halyna Sotska, reported on the results of participation in the First Meeting of the General Conference @Ukrainian National Commission for UNESCO. This format of the meeting was held for the first time, as it was preceded by a long process of reforming the Commission and many innovations. The main goal of the reform, launched two years ago, was the effectiveness of interaction between Ukraine and the UNESCO Secretariat in Paris.

During the meeting of the UNESCO Chair, a number of work issues regarding the activities of the Chair in 2023 were agreed upon and approved.
Kyryl Kotun (PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher at Department of Foreign Systems of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education, National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine) was elected as the Vice Head of the UNESCO Chair by open voting.
Alla Shevenko (PhD in Psychology, Junior Researcher of the Department of Labor Psychology, Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education, National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine) was elected as a new UNESCO Chair Member approved by open voting.
